I had the joy this past weekend to photograph my sweet friend and college roomie, Jenn, and her beautiful (and growing) family!  It was amazing to get an entire Saturday morning with these friends that I don’t get to see often enough.  I love this family to pieces and I’m so excited for you to see their crazy, beautiful, and never-boring life!

They are the owners of Rebo’s Restaurant in Sioux City and in Lake Okoboji. The food will knock your socks off, so make sure you get there!Be sure to make a reservation if you are going to the Lake location. Nicole has worked with Chance for over 6 years and has been like a sister to him. She was there to soundboard all of his raves about me when we first met.. (yes, raves… he thought I was that cool). Then, having met me a few times at the gym after Chance and I met, she called Chance from a jewelry store. “Chance, I was just passing my a jewelry store and there is a ring here you can’t pass up. This is the one for Kacey!” Chance immediately went to the jewelry store and bought the ring… 3 months after we met. Nicole knew.. that Chance knew… that I knew.. this, altogether, could not be passed up. Now, Chance and I celebrate 2 years of marriage TODAY!! Thanks for keeping an eye out, Nic… I love you and cannot wait to meet Mr. Elliot!

Our relationship started with Lauren’s Senior Portrait session over a year ago, then the relationship blossomed with a deep, “TMI” but very endearing conversation with the sweet Sandy in my kitchen about life and health. Then, a call from Tom a few days before Christmas pleading with me.. “All my wife wants for Christmas is a photo shoot with Kacey Luvi!” I was honored and sent him gift certificate for her to unwrap for Christmas. Now, I can love all of the Leanders! A little behind on my sports trivia, my sweet assistant, Amy (who knows EVERYONE in the greater Phoenix area) said… “Is that Tom Leander?? THE Tom Leander??” I thought… hmmm, he never mentioned his job specifically or how cool he was, but yes.. this is Tom Leander, the Phoenix Suns commentator! How cool are you, TOM?!?! Thanks for NOT telling me! HAHA! He and Sandy met in the journalism field years ago while Sandy and Tom were reporting for CBS and ABC together in Tucson! What a rock star family!
