Katie: an 11 year old Canadian Actress

I don’t even know where to begin with this one. Katie is the sweetest, most lovable young girl!! Her mom contacted me several months ago to set up a photo session for her daughter. It was going to take some planning because they were flying all the way from Toronto, Canada for this session! I was immediately nervous… coming all the way from Canada, I better deliver, eh? So, Katie, an 11 year old philanthropist, twin, animal lover and actress just blew me away with her personality and charm. So much so that when we wrapped up our lunch together after the session I got a little teary. I was so moved that Katie and her parents would fly all the way here just head shots and turn around the next day and go back to Toronto. While enjoying our post session lunch at (Katie’s choice) Olive Garden, I thought to finally ask.. how did you even find me? Well, you know Canadians and their love for all things Wayne Gretzky-ish, they were googling their curiosity away about Wayne’s family of 7. As they started to search around, they stumbled upon MY images of the Gretzky kids and was lead to my website. Anyway, it was friendship forever at first site as I greeted them out in my driveway with Marli on her leash, so excited. Katie brought me a beautifully bundled bouquet of bright colored flowers (my favorite) and box of chocolates (another favorite) and a stuffed plush dog with a noisemaker inside…. (Marli’s favorite). Within 2 minutes of them being in our house, Marli snagged the stuffed dog and ate it. It was a wonderful session and I will be friends with Katie for life!Look at those green eyes!!
