The Bard Family!

Huge confession: I have been the most non-existent blogger!! Totally MIA… due to the action, and then the non-action. March has been crazy with 6 weddings in 2 weeks and sessions galore since it’s Spring Break and apparently the most popular week to book photos.. SO–the day after this shoot, I was out for a week with an icky cold. Ugh! Thank you for your patience! There are many, many photos to come.

The Bard family was among the very first family sessions I had in 2007, so they are dear to my heart and faithful clients. When I first met them, Josh was catching for the San Diego Padres and now plays for the Seattle Mariners! They have become good friends as I’ve been able to watch their family grow and document it’s progress for the past few years. I love this shot of Lindsay and Josh. Lindsay is the most smiley person I’ve ever met… and I know a lot of smiley, happy people. She’s definitely the most smiley. I love that about her! It’s totally contagious.
This is the precious Hannah… so much personality wrapped up in a little bruiser of a babe. Luke, age 5, knows exactly what it takes to make Hannah laugh, so he was being “my assistant.”What a honey. And the roosters too.
Luke wanted be like dad and pose in the catcher’s position like dad.The newest little Bard-ling: Karis. Smiley, like mom. Unconventional family photo, but love how Hannah is trying to tickle Karis to make her smile.
I heart Luke. You may be over the pink chair by now. Not me.

Love you, Bards!!
